I am Nishant Tiwari, a PhD student in the Department of Geography in the Pennsylvania State University focusing on Antarctica Ice Sheet fractures and calving dynamics using microwave remote sensing and machine learning. I have an Integrated M.Tech in Geoinformatics from Central University of Jharkhand where my research centered on glacier velocity estimation using SAR and optical datasets.
Before pursuing graduate studies in PennState, I was in IIT Mandi, where I contributed to projects involving glacial lake mapping, rock glacier mapping and debris-covered glacier mapping in the Himalayan Region, using multi-source data and machine learning algorithms.
